Prior to the referendum, Johnson was working for the Kremlin-funded Telegraph newspaper & Spectator magazine writing xenophobic, inflammatory & misleading columns, manipulating opinion on immigration & exaggerating alleged over-reach of the EU into UK domestic affairs. #BrexitPM

He was the figurehead for Leave & played a key role in swaying the vote. The platforming of his bogus bumbling Boris persona by every national media outlet & his infamous lies about £350m a week for the NHS & taking back control were crucial in swaying the vote. #BrexitPM

Farage's Brexit Party, born from May's failure, pulled the Tory Party rhetoric further right on Brexit and immigration. Not one to miss an opportunity, Johnson appears to have had a pact with Farage, in which the Brexit Party wouldn't contest Conservative seats. #BrexitPMs

Not only did this hand Johnson as much as half his majority it also assimilated a fresh group of radicalised far-right voters into the Conservative Party base as they moved to keep up with the rhetoric coming from Farage and the Brexit Party. #BrexitPMs

Johnson moved quickly to unlawfully prorogue parliament, giving minimal opportunity for Parliament to block a no-deal Brexit

When Parliament returned, 21 Tory MPs voted with the opposition to block a no-deal Brexit, so he removed the whip from them all and called a GE #BrexitPMs

Having gained his thumping majority, Johnson supercharged May and Cameron's work of bringing think tanks ever closer to the heart of govt and stacked his cabinet with several members of the ERG and 14 former members of the IEA. #BrexitPMs

Crucially he brought back Shanker Singham at a crucial time in the Brexit negotiations. Singham boasted of enjoying "unparalleled access" to the Brexit process & senior Ministers & likely played a key role in pushing the ERG-hijacked government towards a hard Brexit. #BrexitPMs

With Shanker Singham whispering in his ear and the ERG now effectively holding the government to ransom, Johnson gleefully condemned the UK to a hard Brexit. This was a pivotal moment for the introduction of Freeports, Investment Zones & Charter Cities to the UK. #BrexitPMs

The deal had to leave the UK outside the customs union & single market to ensure the sites could be fully deregulated.

Sunak had now ascended from the backbenches to become Johnson’s Chancellor & with him came a manifesto pledge to introduce Freeports across the UK. #BrexitPMs

The whole process has been shrouded in mystery, FoI requests are routinely blocked citing commercial sensitivity. Under the Johnson govt, the bidding process, selection of sites & first steps to implemention all occurred with no scrutiny from the media or opposition. #BrexitPMs

Johnson introduced the Elections Bill, giving the ruling party direct control of the EC, removing limits on foreign donations to Parties & introduced mandatory voter ID.

He introduced the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill, criminalising noisy protests. #BrexitPMs

Johnson also introduced the Judicial Review Bill, allowing Ministers to overrule judicial verdicts that they don't agree with.

While May boosted the cash for Honours racket, Johnson strapped rockets to it and provided a whole new level of access for donors. #BrexitPMs

Not content to simply reward donors, media barons and possible foreign intelligence agents with peerages & Knighthoods, Johnson created a "second cabinet" known as the Advisory Board comprising the most generous of Tory Party donors. #BrexitPMs

The Advisory Board included Lord Bamford (JCB & Midlands Industrial Council) & Lubov Chernukhin (wife of Vladimir Putin’s former Finance Minister), who were incredibly able to directly influence govt decision-making during the early stages of the pandemic and beyond. #BrexitPMs

Johnson introduced the Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill which seeks to divide the country by combining groups of existing Local Council Authorities into new Combined Council Authorities (CCAs) that will be overseen by regional Mayors with near-dictatorial powers. #BrexitPMs

Party-gate, chaos and a never ending conveyor belt of scandals came to define the final few months of the Johnson govt & despite his best efforts to go rogue, the intensifying pressure proved too much for this particular stooge to endure & he too bowed out. #BrexitPMs
