Sorry for this boring thread people.
The good looking one, his name is Ben.
He has been my partner's constant friend through 12 years. He has been there after she lost her father, then her mother, and then her best friend.
Then after she met me, she took my mother as her own and cared for her whilst she has ill health .
My partner doing this whilst she has her own health problems.
Now to the picture, Ben, 13 nearly 14 years old, given the news yesterday that he has a stomach tumor.
A stomach tumor as people know, in a dog, is not easy to recover from. So we need an ultrasound for him .cost £1000 , just to say I'd it is or isn't .Because he is a #rottweiler, insurance companies don't want to insure him, due to known health issues.
Now here's the dilemma, the cost is enormous, yes we have money saved for rainy days , but it will be a struggle, but we do not care , if it means another day with our baby boy .
But , that's not the problem.
The problem is, after she is about to lose her constant best friend , her loyal friend , how do I tell her I, myself, my need a ultrasound/MRI scan , due to constant headaches and blurred vision . It's too much for a person to cope with all at once.
So no, I'm NOT asking for a crowdfunding thing , don't believe in it, don't want help ( unless @ProfNoelFitz wants to help, joking).
Just need to get this off my chest , as it's beating me up , I wanna cry but can't , (though I am now) .
Life is shit at times, but remember this
Those that say a dog , is just a dog, have never owned a dog.
A dog is part of the family , they are your family , and it hurts to lose one and to see one in pain, and know there is nothing you can do for them xxx
