Among the companies that manufacture microchips with GLONASS support are American Linx Tech, Broadcom, Qualcomm, Telit, Maxim Integrated, TRIMBLE, and Cavli Wireless; Swiss u-blox AG, STMicroelectronics; Canadian Sierra Wireless and NovAtel; Belgian Septentrio, British Antenova.
As the manufacturers of civilian chips, these companies may not even suspect their products could be used for military purposes - however, it is the Russian military machine that is running on the GLONASS navigation system.
