During this time, DeSantis bragged about taking liquor licenses away from bars that did not follow his lockdown orders
DeSantis also bragged about the “grim reaper of businesses” to take away licenses from businesses that did not follow his lockdown orders
While lockdown was in place in florida, pastors were arrested for holding church services. The county sheriff said that the pastor’s actions “were a direct violation of Executive Order 20-5” which was the executive order signed by DeSantis nbcnews.com/news/us-news/f…
Just like Donald Trump, DeSantis actually never seemed to support mask mandates. But he still wore a mask all the time 
Now the JAB. Ron was a big proponent of the jab. “These vaccines are saving lives. They are reducing mortality, I can tell you that we’re going to end up having over 95% of folks that end up seriously ill from this point on are going to be people who are not vaccinated.”
DeSantis addressed vaccine hesitancy, saying that the benefits of the vaccine outweigh the small risk of side effects.
“There are occasionally some side effects, but if you’re 70 years old, man, the benefit is so much better than worrying about some of that. It’s not even close,”
