There will be no resignations by PTI in Punjab,KP, GB and AJK. Business will be as usual. If Punjab Govt is wrapped up it will be wrapped up by PDM and not PTI. BUT, if PTI goes against all logic and dissolves Punjab and KP Assemblies it will be writing its own political obituary
Ever since April 2022 ie soon after the VONC removed the PTI Govt I have maintained that there will be no early elections and that the PDM Govt will go all the way. That is how it has been so far. Unfortunately, PTI is a Party that lacks political acumen in its higher hierarchy.
The expectations of the dynamic new incoming generation(s) are neither unreal nor wrong.Their idealism was cashed by IK but there was never an intention to fulfill the aspirations of the incoming generations which gave blind support to IK and PTI. Clearly, they have been let down
Not long from now the dynamic new generation of Pak will be floating in the political market once again looking for new avenues and moorings that could possibly enable them to achieve their aspirations aimed at what I call the ‘Pakistani Dream’.(see last tweet of this thread)
How much of this wandering political support comprising of the disheartened BUT hopeful and dynamic new generation will then be garnered by the traditional parties and how much of it will join Pakistan’s silent majority or,maybe, have an entity of their own is what time will tell
The weeks ahead will be interesting to watch.Pakistan now looks forward to political maturity that can lead towards political stability that has become quintessential for Pakistan’s economic recovery. NO HOPE without that stability. Soon Pakistanis will hate disruptive politics
I pray all who matter work towards developing a new political environment in Pakistan that is based on a co-existential but an ABSOLUTE CONSTITUTIONAL political environment wherein not a single State element has the courage to venture beyond it’s constitutional limits. Period
Pakistan must get rid of political enmities, divisions in every sphere of our national life, hatred brought about by divisive and disruptive politics, stop the speedy degeneration of important State organs and most importantly arrest the economic decline. We all owe it to Pakistan.
Lastly,it is absolutely essential to say that Pakistan was at the edge of the precipice.Destiny has given the Pakistani Nation ONE MORE BUT POSSIBLY LAST CLARION CALL to put its House in order before events/circumstances take over and make a come-back IMPOSSIBLE #PakistanZindabad
I had to attach it like this as I was finding it hard to put this image on this last tweet directly. 😄😄

Motorways,Expressways and Highways under National Highway Authority are under the Federation.Governor Houses etc are Federal property.Any act committed against the Federation anywhere in Pakistan can be handled, including arrests,by the Federal Govt using Rangers,FC and the Army
In that situation should a Provincial Govt,on the orders of its CM,try to hinder the Federation’s actions the Federation has the power to rectify the situation through arrests etc using paramilitary forces and it can even disarm that Province’s police for mutiny against the State
Such eventualities are most unwanted. But, should such an eventuality become absolutely inevitable to preserve the unity of the Federation when threatened by the erring conduct of a Federating Unit there is nothing stopping the Federation to take remedial measures

This is the list of bureaucrats given to Broadsheet for investigating their assets, accounts etc.I was amused to see my name here.I speak ONLY for myself and ask the Pakistani relevant authorities and Broadsheet to publish whatever they found on me or say they found NOTHING
Let me say that while I did wield immense State power and had access to sizable funds I acquitted myself honorably of the trust reposed in me by the then PM SMBB and the State of Pakistan.Yet,I hav been politically victimized all along since 96;ONLY because I was SMBB’s Int Chief
Among the achievements of my Organization under my command was the restoration of peace to Karachi in 1995-96 after it had seen a horrific ten years of bloodshed. I was awarded HILAL E SHUJAAT which was later illegally withdrawn as part of my victimization. It is a sad commentary

People who do not possess a sense of self respect,a high level of dignity,a solid sense of honor and an utmost level of pride in their being and existence become immune to humiliation. When people lose their pride and become a commodity not even extreme humiliation can touch them
Nations too must have honorable attributes in a collective manner so as to become nations that are integrated, have a head-held-high with national pride posture so as to be treated with respect. This will never happen in a country where everyone lives in fear and compromises
Much that I wish it wasn’t so I cannot say that we,as Pakistanis, will be able to avoid humiliations of sorts as we are now a thoroughly compromised nation wherein most people whether in politics, journalism, opinion making, business, bureaucracy etc act in fear or with self interest

5th Generation Hybrid Warfare is being mentioned since the past year or so.

I had written an article “(Pakistan) At a crossroad’ which was published in The News way back in August 2008 when I first indicated what is now mentioned as 5th Generation Hybrid Warfare. An excerpt
That is exactly what was happening to Pakistan at that time. There was violence all over Pakistan and it was being fought by the State under the banner ‘War on Terror’.That violence is what I had called ‘insurgency(ies)’.On the political front the period 2007-8 was one of turmoil
That political turmoil in 2007-8 was related to Musharraf’s second emergency of Nov 2007, the Pakistan Civil Society’s movement for the restoration of the then house arrested Supreme Court Judges and the 12 May 2008 Karachi bloodshed and total anarchy. Pakistan was in a tail spin

In Maldives the average height above sea level(asl) is 4ft and the highest point is 8ft.Karachi on the average is 26 ft asl. If,for a moment,Karachi is considered virgin land with nothing built on it one can imagine that some natural drainage must have existed which is now blocked
Not only that but since water makes an alternate path those paths have also been blocked by all sorts of encroachment and legal/illegal buildings. So, therefore, cleaning up a few nullahs here and there is never going to be enough. What needs to be done is far more than that.
A new and comprehensive network of drainage needs to be planned and some of the old natural drains need to be interlinked to that comprehensive network even if it means removing illegal encroachments/buildings. Huge drains carrying rain water to the sea have to be built/rebuilt

That, sooner or later, the power sharers of Pakistan will fall out of step with each other is a foregone conclusion. This has been Pakistan’s political history. Examples 1)ZAB went rogue after the Tashkent declaration. 2)MNS went rogue in 1993.When will it happen again is guess work
There is a difference between the examples.Z A Bhutto became a PM because of going rogue when he was Foreign Minister while Mian Nawaz Sharif went rogue as a PM with his famous ‘dictation nahin loonga’ speech on TV in 1993. It cost him his Govt but earned him political longevity
To my mind, if Mian Nawaz Sharif had not gone rogue in 1993 he would have lost his political ground/support and relevance by the normal end of his term in 1995.That would have been it for him and PMLN. As it is, in 2020, MNS is more relevant than ever. Times ahead are interesting
