There is no any game now. Currently, you only can read their whitepaper + do some tasks to be eligible for their free NFT mint.
Namely to serve as their twitter bots liking and retweeting and saying how bullish you are on it.
When and if the game is released, you will be able to join one of the few Empires with 1800s setting:
🇫🇷 French Empire
🇺🇸 American Empire
🇨🇳 Chinese Empire
🇷🇺 Russian Empire
🇹🇷 Ottoman Empire
The game logic is based on RISK board game.
You will be able to move your troops into the territories and fight with the troops of other players. Each Empire will have its turn to move its troops.
An unusual part is that they do no plan to have a token. They want to reward players for playing with a half of 10% royalties on their NFTs.
NFTs themselves are needed to play the game. Each NFT is a soldier. There are also various types of soldiers.
A cool part that I like is that their artist is good.
Also that they use an AI-generated art! That is revolutionary approach. However, it is also not related to play to earn.
The roadmap.
They plan to go live on Starknet
Overall, the current economics looks like that: Players buy nfts to play the game, and fight for the fraction of the price they paid for them.
I don't see how such economic model can scale and create any significant in-game economy. Which is kinda the purpose of web3 games.
Without a significant in-game economy I would just go play the new Victoria 3, Crusader Kings 2 or Stellaris.
Why would anyone downgrade from top web2 games to a web3 game with graphics and gameplay like games form 1990s or early 2000s?
My overall impression: not impressed. The game definitely needs to design a cool economy to gain significant traction. The art is cool tho!
