Back in 2010, prosecutions began for the grooming and sexual abuse of young girls across England and Wales. The towns of Rochdale, Oldham and Rotherham were at the centre of the scandal. 2/
In 2015, the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse started looking into the abuse, chaired by Prof Alexis Jay.
