1/18 A 🧵on Balenciaga, and the reality of sorcery in high places TODAY, right now:

The Balenciaga scandal has opened the eyes of many.

Good. It should. This stuff is absolutely not a joke.

2/18 Have you read “Hammer of Witches”? Most haven’t. It’s a big book written by a Dominican inquisitor in the late 1400’s who was tasked with investigating charges of witchcraft and sorcery in Germany. It was endorsed by the Pope.

3/18 Anyone who has read it will not be surprised by the Balenciaga scandal.

The very first topic he addresses is the fact that so few Catholics—even bishops and priests—believed sorcery was real. “Sorcery” simply means:

4/18 powers obtained by individuals pursuant to a pact with demonic powers. Most Catholics didn’t believe it was real—in the late 1400’s! (So much for the caricature of the late medieval period)

5/18 Next, he laid out exactly what these witches and wizards (though primarily witches) were doing. I won’t go into all the details—some of it is shocking.

6/18 But suffice it to say there was a heavy emphasis on CHILDREN, ABORTION, CONTRACEPTION, and robbing children of their sexual INNOCENCE. No, I’m not making this up. It’s all in there.

7/18 Engaging in such acts was part of the demonic pact. The more it was done, the greater their powers would become.

8/18 The final part of the treatise is a detailed exposition of canon law, and all the procedures in place in order to determine guilt or innocence, doing everything possible to ensure the accused was given a fair trial.

9/18 All that to say, sorcery is real. There are people who actively collaborate with the demonic in order to increase their own power, wealth, and pleasure. The Church actively stamped out such practices. Western civilization, as a whole, restrained such behavior.

10/18 Now, the West is largely apostate, and believes it has grown up, and no longer has to believe in such “monster” stories.

Then something like the Balenciaga scandal happens, where the demonic pact is so open and flagrant that it is undeniable.

11/18 Ancient Canaanite gods to whom children were offered as sacrifices were named. Figures involved openly flaunted their wicked fetish for art and other depictions of children in severe distress, even being consumed by demonic figures. Etc.

12/18 None of this was an accident. Many in the highest positions of power in the world today—post-Christendom, post-apostasy of the West—are in active collaboration with demonic powers. It is real.

13/18 If you still don’t believe me, consider this: in 2 Thessalonians 2, St. Paul says that Antichrist will come with all lying signs and wonders, directly empowered by Satan.

14/18 In other words, Antichrist will be in some sort of demonic pact that empowers him to engage in sorcery of some kind, such that it will appear he is doing something miraculous.

15/18 This is what the Egyptian priests who confronted Moses did. It’s what the very first heretic (Simon Magus) is reported to have done in the presence of the first Pope, St. Peter, in Rome, before the Emperor Nero and the Roman Senate.

16/18 There are countless similar stories all over the writings of the Church Fathers and Saints that testify to this reality. If this is indeed the means by which Antichrist comes, it would be foolish to assume it comes out of nowhere, a complete vacuum.

17/18 No, the path will have been cleared in advance.

Now, if we assume that all these holy, often martyred Christians are not crazy; if we acknowledge they are consistent in their testimony;

18/18 if we recall that all the civilizational barriers to such behavior are no longer present in our now apostate civilization; and if we can obviously discern that such behavior is taking place in high places, in concert, and in the open, then the conclusion is obvious.

PS It should go without saying I do NOT support the advocacy of torture in “The Hammer of Witches.” It was a 15th century book, and thus time-bound in some ways. But it also articulates truths about the nature of sorcery that are affirmed throughout the Bible/Church history.
