We're hoping to have 6 hackathons around #ESMARConf2023 - these are slow-burn group projects run over the year to produce or develop FREE tools to support evidence synthesis!
FREE TOOLS, PEOPLE!
2/8
We hope to have 10 x 60-minute panel discussions, covering things like: using text analysis to support search methods; rapid reviews and R; stakeholder engagement and evidence synthesis, plus tonnes more!
3/8
We'll have 13 interactive workshops of up to 2 hours covering topics from using GitHub to deduplicating bibliographic records - many not requiring any knowledge of R!
That's >24 hours of bespoke teaching.. FOR FREE!!
4/8
We'll have 28 presentations of up to 10 minutes each, introducing new frameworks, tools, and methods, or case studies showing how tools in R/Shiny were used in real reviews.
SO MUCH INFORMATION!!
5/8
Finally, we will have >50 (!) 10-20 minute tutorials - in these videos, the tool developers will walk you through R packages and Shiny apps, including example files for you to practice with!
MORE THAN 50! 🤯

"This can't all be free?!" I hear you say!
YES - it's entirely free and fully online. Watch live, take part, catch-up later. However you want!
AND - we're offering modest bursaries to support people with caregiving, resource and accessibility support needs.

Keep an eye open for registration details coming very soon, along with information on how to apply for a bursary!
