Ducey's shipping container wall on the AZ-MX border is worse than I imagined. I went down yesterday to see it myself for a Border Chronicle story. Imagine 10 miles of this through a national wildlife forest. This is happening right now👇👇 
A handful of people who live near the @CoronadoNF kept more of this junkyard from being built yesterday but contractors are building at a rapid rate
In 20 years of reporting on the US-Mexico border this is one of the most destructive, truly damaging and wasteful things I've ever seen, which is really saying something. This will cost $100 million, keep nobody out & forever harm endangered ocelots, jaguars and other species
Local border residents are looking for more people to come down and block the construction. Ducey's plan is to build 10 miles of this before incoming Gov. Hobbs takes office. Then AZ is stuck with this $100 million dollar junkyard fence. I mean, seriously, look at this 👇
And it's running right through the middle of this beautiful, protected federal land @CoronadoNF that belongs to all of us.
