Yesterday, the Faith-Based Security Advisory Council held its 2nd meeting where they discussed efforts to enhance the security and preparedness of places of worship, faith communities, and faith-based organizations with @SecMayorkas. #FBSAC
Speaking directly to the Council, @SecMayorkas emphasized the critical role their leadership provides in strengthening the bonds between our DHS department officials everywhere, and the communities that we serve. ⬇️
At the direction of @SecMayorkas, the Faith-Based Council—comprised of 25 members representing a diversity of faith communities from across the country—will work on three critical lines of effort: information sharing, grants/resources, and partnerships. #FBSAC
