465 patients checked into our ED in a 24hr period. No inpatient beds, 16 hour wait times just to be seen, up to 30% leave without being seen. Very sick patients boarding in ED for days. Mainly driven by RSV, Flu, & COVID. No end in sight.

Some asked, this is a dedicated peds ED. Not talking about adults here, just kids. The country as a whole & emergency/critical care pediatricians answered the call when adult patient surge was occurring. Sadly, now seems the world has moved on and nobody seems to want to help us.
