1. OBEY TRAFFIC RULES ALWAYS CARRY YOUR LICENSE , MAKE SURE YOUR INSURANCE COVER IS UP TO DATE AND OTHER DOCUMENTS

2. PLAN THE ROUTE TO YOUR DESTINATION AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

3.MAKE SURE YOUR CAR IS ROADWORTHY. FROM TYRES , WINDSCREEN , WIPERS , BRAKES , STEERING , SHOCK ABSORBERS , EXHAUST SYSTEM , INDICATORS AND OTHERS

4. DON'T DON'T OVERLOAD

5. TRY NOT TO DRIVE AT NIGHT - MOST OF THE POEPLE LOVE DRIVING AT NIGHT AND IT'S RECOMMENDED.

6. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD REST BEFORE EMBARKING TO YOUR JOURNEY.

7. TAKE SAFETY BREAKS AFTER EVERY TWO HOURS OR DISTANCE OF 250KM

8. DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE

9. BE ALWAYS VISIBLE ON THE ROAD. SWITCH ON THE LIGHTS WHEN NECESSARY

10. ALWAYS BE ON SAFETY BELTS AS A DRIVER AND PASSENGERS

11. STAY WITHIN THE SPEED LIMITS AS ALWAYS DON'T OVERSPEND

12. DONT TEXT OR CALL OR OPERATE YOUR PHONE WHILE DRIVING AVOID ALL THE DISTRACTIONS AS POSSIBLE

13. MAINTAIN SOME DISTANCE BETWEEN YOUR CAR AND THE ONE YOU ARE FOLLOWING

14. ONLY OVERTAKE WHEN YOU NEED TO.

15. ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS YOU ARE THE ONLY SOBER DRIVER ON THE ROAD.

represented by Messrs Mike Solis and Julius Nutter from the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
The donations were made courtesy of the growing and improving partnership between the Directorate and the United States, in the security sector.

Photojournalist @echwalu January 2023, will embark on an audacious road excursion with @maureenagena partner through Southern Africa. They have projected to travel cover 12 countries with a minimum of 20,000km in just over 2 months to cover with Defender 90 @SheDefender

The journey starts in Nairobi, Kenya, through Uganda into the vast Tanzania via the Mutukula border post. We then drive centrally southwards to Mbeya-the southern most city in Tanzania, from where we will cross into Zambia.

On exploring Zambia, we cross into Namibia- from reports, one of the 'loneliest', yet stunningly beautiful countries to drive across. Despite traveling extensively across the continent, we both haven’t been to Namibia. In Namibia, everyone is always asking; “Where are people?”
