We need structural legislative change. We need a Women's Bill of Rights making clear what our social, political and legal rights are. Until we have that, here are five key changes we would like to see in law and society. Please read on. 1/6 🧵
2/6. Make public sexual harassment a specific criminal offence.

71% of women in the UK suffered sexual harassment in a public space.

3/6. Decriminalise abortion in Britain.

Under Victorian legislation, passed before women could even vote, women could spend their lives in prison if they procure their own abortions. A woman is on trial for such a crime today. @MSIchoices, @BPAS1968.
