I experimented doing zero promotion all of November and here's what I learned.
I did the experiment since all my main socials where banned it would be a good time to see how much impact promotion really makes.
Promotion for me was: posting on tiktok & Insta
I continued selling videos and all the work that goes into onlyfans, photography, chatting, sexting etc.
I lost 70% of income.
The 15% of income retained was from reoccurring subscribers & 'stumbled upon' new subs.
15% from video sales.
I dropped from 3k subs to 700 subs
500 subscribers reoccurring. 200 new.
In perspective I average 80ish subs per day when promoting, 6 when not.
At 3k subs I was getting 100 likes on post.
at 700 subs I got 50 likes on posts.
A 77% drop in subs but only a 50% drop in likes.
the majority of folks who like your posts are your reoccurring subscribers. THANK THEM!
This experiment taught me where to put my energy. If on an average I have 3k subs, 500 of those stick around to connect.
Yet the 1,500 "just for boobs and 1 month" pay 70% of my income.
I've learned to pour the majority of my energy into promotion, most people only stick around 1 month for boobs and curiosity anyways (unsustainable). I also want to make a second tier for reoccurring subs who actually value connection (sustainable).
