Let's take a look back at some of their best moments from #IndyRef1👇

In 2014 Scottish Labour argued that independence could lead to a 30% increase in your weekly shop.

Today as part of the UK, Scots face rises of up to 344%

ALBA has been at the forefront of calls for a convention to break the constitutional logjam.

In April 2022, former ALBA Party leader Alex Salmond called for a convention to provide 'direction and leadership' to the independence movement.

He repeated these calls following the Supreme Court’s decision in November 2022, saying a convention would 'challenge the idea that Scotland doesn't have the right to decide.'

On both occasions, the calls were rejected or ignored.

If you support Independence then it has to be #ListVoteALBA at the election next year.

In 2021, over 1 MILLION SNP regional list votes returned just TWO SNP MSPs. If these votes had gone to ALBA, the Scottish Parliament would look very different today... 👇🧵

In Central Scotland, 134,000 SNP list votes returned zero SNP MSPs. Instead of Independence supporting MSPs via ALBA, both Labour and the Tories returned three MSPs each 👇

If you live in Central Scotland, it has to be #ListVoteALBA - it just makes sense 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Even more pro-Independence list votes were wasted in the YES City of Glasgow and yet more Unionists took their seats👇

🧵 18th of November 2024 marks the 10 year anniversary of Alex Salmond's official resignation as First Minister of Scotland.

Let's take a look at just some of his many achievements in Government.

After achieving a historic overall majority in the 2011 Scottish Parliament election, he gave the people of Scotland the opportunity to vote for Independence 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

In 2008 and 2013, his Government intervened to stop the closure of Scotland's only oil refinery at Grangemouth.

With the absence of any discernible political leadership in the Scottish Government, Scotland is now facing the very real likelihood that it will become the only major oil producing nation without its own refinery capacity.

It's no secret that Westminster will say NO to another referendum. They have been saying no for 8 years - that's not going to change...

So saying that your strategy is to ask Westminster for another referendum is the same as saying you haven't got a strategy 🫢

But just because Westminster will refuse a second referendum, does not mean we can't do anything.

ALBA has the plan...

We're not wording that in a way that is confusing, we mean it.
