2 yrs back,someone from govt said the cost is Rs.0.
So now lets see.
Original cost of project:Rs.23,000 cr.
.........
Cost escalation ever since work stopped at depot:Rs.10,000 cr. and counting.
Approx. additional cost of buying land at Kanjur: Rs.10,000 cr.
Approx. Cost of civil construction including depot:Rs.4000 crore.
.....
So L3,which could have been done and opened partially by end of 2022 @ Rs.23,000 cr, is now looking at Rs.47,000 cr. bill with no additional benefits to speak of and no timeline to open.When immature people is given power,this is what happens

Upcoming week will be the end of 2 years since new government formed in Maharashtra.In these 2 yrs.
-Delhi metro phase 4 started
-Bangalore metro phase 2 started
-Chennai metro phase 2 started
-Ahmedabad metro started expansion of current lines
-Kochi metro expansion
-Kanpur metro completed its 1 line in 2 yrs

-Delhi-mumbai expwy is at awarded majority of pkgs
-Jamnagar-Amritsar expwy work started
-Bangalore-Chennai expwy work started
-Raipur-Vizag expwy awarded
-Chittoor-Thatchur expwy awarded
-Delhi-Amritsar expwy work started
-Mumbai Ahmedabad HSR awarded & started
-Rishikesh-Karnaprayag rail line work started
-Sela tunnel excavation completed in 2 yrs
-zmorh tunnel excavation completed
-Zojila tunnel work started

Meanwhile in Maharashtra in 2 yrs
Major New projects Infra tender awarded- 0
