Why you should assign Project Bono’s Nicotine Awareness & Prevention class to students who receive in-school suspension for vaping:

•A THREAD•

#YouthVaping #VapingPrevention #NicotineAwareness #Courts
(1/4)

First, our courses can help students to better understand the risks of vaping and the potential health consequences. By providing accurate and reliable information, our courses can help students to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing.
(2/4)

Second, our courses can provide valuable insights to help students who are struggling with nicotine addiction. They can use their time in suspension learning about the consequences of their actions and habits rather that getting a few days off from school.
(3/4)

Third, by assigning Project Bono to students who are in in-school suspension for vaping, schools can help to prevent recidivism and promote responsible behavior.
(4/4)

In addition to these benefits, Project Bono contributes 25% of enrollment proceeds to 501(c)(3) nonprofits and the communities that assign our programs. This allows schools and courts to support worthwhile causes, enrich their communities, and reduce burdens on taxpayers.

Recent study from Washington State University shows that high school seniors in US states where cannabis is legal only for medical use are more likely to vape cannabis. The study analyzed responses from 3,770 high school seniors to the 2020 Monitoring the Future Project.

(1/10)
According to the study, about 27% of 12th graders in medical marijuana states reported vaping cannabis, compared to 19% in all other states. This trend could be due to youth in medical-only states perceiving cannabis use as less risky.

(2/10)
THC distillate (the liquid inside a cartridge) makes is more concentrated than cannabis flower, therefore making it more potent, with cannabis flower being only around 20% potency while vaping cannabis can be up to 90% potency.

Current findings, however, reveal concerning links between vaping, nicotine, and mental health.

Thread: Let's talk about certificate integrity when it comes to court-ordered programs.
1/ At Project Bono, we understand how important certificate integrity is. Not only do these certificates serve as proof of completion, but they also act as a deterrent for repeat offenders and forgery.
2/ We ensure certificate integrity by instantly and uniquely generating certificates upon completion of our courses. Each certificate contains a unique serial number and watermark, making them easily verifiable.
