How can we help people inside Iran to achive their goals? What are the problems? How to solve?

2/12 One main issue is the Flow of Information. Lack of proper communication. Especially, the speed by which information spreads between people. For example, in 3 days national strike, it probably took days until information reached the majority of businesses.👇

When there is a short gap between calling for demonstrations and the actual event, with current restrictions, these calls will not reach to a large number of people. Then, a limiting factor is the speed of information dissemination. 👇

In 2009, information was mainly disseminated via BBC Persian. Back then, regime succeeded in stopping the information flow by sending noise to satellites, or turning Tehran into a large microwave! And now, via restrictions to internet access, filtering… 👇

Despite all these restrictions, we managed to spread the information to Bazars and shopkeepers. This required planning ahead and giving enough time for information to spread. In this situation, it will be hard to organise demonstartions in a short period....👇

This is called "bottleneck effect". But we can overcome this through planning. E.g., we can say on all even week days, there is a demonstartion at 2 places. And ask people to evaluate the location, 1st do a silent walk until gathering shape. ...👇

Then, knowing the time and 2-3 locations ahead are very important, as long as communication is slow. But we need to fix this, otherwise the movement slows down and dies for the time being, until the next trigger gives it a start. 👇

Here the opposition outside of Iran can have a major role. Ideally they need to push governments or companies to provide technology/access to internet to the people (free of charge). This can be done by ... 👇

This can be done by allocating frozen funds (Iranian’s money). This requires bringing the oppositions together. Currently, they are very slow and we need to push them. People inside Iran are united, but outside, there is lots of divide and disagreement.👇

11/12 This can be overcome, if we understand what the people inside Iran need. It requires putting aside differences, practising democracy and not thinking who will govern. We don't have right to decide what is best for the people inside. They are the ones risking their lives..👇

12/12 They are smart enough to know what is the best for them. They know what is the best way to govern the country. Question is whether we (outsiders) will come together to help them achieve their goals?
