In fact the only time I was allowed to enter was thanks to #SonalMansigh the greatest odissi dancer. Wild story.

We reached the ‘famous’ temple in middle of night. I hesitated in entering when she asked me to join her and said ‘kannan’ doesnt discriminate.
Had the VIP darshan not once but twice as she asked cops to help her do once again.

Many people outside the state still doesnt know that Kerala temples dont allow non-hindus to even enter the premises. Exceptions are ones in name of Sree narayana guru.
I couldnt enter temple for kathakali performance by my friend where my other friend was the priest there.

Havent seen such discrimination anywhere else. I have visited many of jyothirling temples, many in Guj/TN/Raj etc. Only in Kerala, no entry.
