π·πΊπΊπΈ Russian citizen Victor Bout, who was arrested by the U.S. on arms trafficking charges, gave an exclusive interview to RT and recounted the details of his 15 years in captivity.
His main points:
Victor Bout on his activities:
- He was engaged in legal shipment. He was arrested to publicly punish Russia, Russian businesses and citizens.
- Claims that he was in contact and made deals with the Taliban are false.
- The US judge told him he saw no evidence of his guilt.
Victor Bout on US prisons:
- He spent most of his time in isolation and was denied family visits.
- He was offered a deal to serve 30 years instead of life.
- The US prison system was built by Nazis taken to the US after WWII
- Prisoners do not believe US mainstream media
Victor Bout on Russian politics:
- The SMO was the right choice, should have started earlier.
- He hung a picture of Putin in his cell.
- Russia has two allies, its army and navy.
- He is sincerely happy to be back home.
Victor Bout on American society:
- In US prisons and society, drugs and LGBT are rampant, leading to a civilizational collapse
- A revolution in the US is impossible, because of media influence

One could laugh and say that once again the Europeans were screwed by the Americans, but a similar fate likely awaits the UN, which already serves as a beautiful veil, creating a picture for the media and gullible population. Now there's simply no need to comply with agreements.
It's disappointing that Russian officials still pretend everything is going fine. For some reason we still focus on international institutions, agreements and mechanisms. In practice it's all quietly ignored, yet we try to prove something to the West with papers and treaties.
π¦πΏπΊπ¦π‘ News appeared online about Azerbaijan sending a batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, which also includes electrical equipment. Judging by the photo, the Kyiv authorities received a batch of 10 kV transformers.
Will they help stabilize the Ukrainian power grid? Hardly: the Russian Armed Forces' strikes on substations knocked out a large number of 330 kV autotransformers, without which voltage reduction for its further delivery to consumers is impossible.
Therefore, supplies of 10 kV transformers from Azerbaijan or other countries without replacing the previously destroyed 330 kV substations will in no way help Ukrainian power engineers to restore power supply in regions that lost power.
βοΈπ·πΊπΊπ¦ Chronicle of the Special Military Operation
December 10-11, 2022
Crimea:
Ukrainian kamikaze drones attempted to strike Simferopol, but Russian air defenses shot them all down before they reached their targets.
Kupiansk-Svatove sector:
Units of the AFU 14th Brigade and 32nd Terr. Def. Battalion attempted to storm the Synkivka-Lyman-1 line but were unsuccessful.
Russian forces caught a Ukrainian recon group near Dachne, most of the group was killed, the rest fled to the forests.
Rybar's infrastructure analysis is very interesting, but still rather "patriotic". Things are not as good for Russia as they may seem.
First of all, many people got generators. Stores have 2.5-8 kW generators, supermarkets have 20+ kW.
[via OpenUkraine]
Factories bought 100-1000 kW ones (yes, they exist, by sea or via Poland).
If diesel is 50-55 UAH/L ($5.30/gal), the price of a kilowatt is 15-20 UAH (50Β’). The military sells stolen diesel for even cheaper, since they are true patriots and are happy to sell it.
The funny thing is, local power companies sell electricity to businesses at 6-7 UAH (18Β’)/kW, but they're going to raise it by 2x or more in January, so it will be cheaper to live off of diesel generators than to buy electricity from the regional power companies.
βοΈπ·πΊπΊπ¦ Starobilsk direction
Situation as of 19:00 Kyiv Time, December 11, 2022
The toughest fighting in the Starobilsk direction is in the Lyman sector, where AFU are trying to break the Russian defense near Kreminna.
Near Ploschanka, AFU are attacking with the aim of recovering positions west of the village that were lost in the recent Russian advance.
The entire Lyman sector is seeing artillery exchanges, which have become considerably more intense in the last few days. Russian warplanes are also active in the area: they are bombing the enemy from extremely low altitudes.
πΊπ¦π‘ Another consequence of the systematic strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure: another power transformer burned up in Kyiv. It seems that the equipment suffered a switching overvoltage.
Excessive voltage pulses were caused when Russian strikes on substation and power plant autotransformers led to switches on high voltage lines. Windings break, an arc ignites, and oil catches fire. Pressure in the box increases, leading to an explosion and bigger fire.
The incident is further evidence of the cumulative effect of Russian missile strikes. Even in the absence of new strikes, elements of the grid are failing on their own.
