She also gave him bail with no restrictions on him being around children despite the fact he had already ADMITTED the rapes.

She also allowed him to leave the state of NSW and move to Queensland.... Where the victim now happened to now be living.
Next, the case was adjourned from August 2016, to April 2017, to June 2017 - then finally March 2018.
By then the victim was in Yr 12 doing the HSC.

Annie Jones was an A Grade student.
Finally, Annie's mum fought for her to be moved to the #ChildSexualOffenceEvidencePorgram
Once there, a specially trained judge oversaw the case.
He was found guilty and jailed for 17 years.

Now Annie & her mum Tracey Morris have joined #JusticeShouldntHurt to fight to ensure ALL children in NSW can access that program if they need it.
At the moment only 2 (of about 200) courts in NSW have the program.
