"Tech" isn't bad or good. In capitalism, AI accelerates the exploitation and commodification of "the arts", and accelerates the displacement of artist who use their skills for wages. ?/?
In a just world, tech would free us from labor for owner class and allow us to simply create art as expression. AI imagery would be pretty benign. As it is now, it's displacing as owners choose for cheaper, faster, and "Gets the job done."
And with all this discussion, I wanted to do something very human: put brush to paper
