#molecularnodes 2.0 is released! Completely re-written from the ground up for countless improvements in speed and usability. Can also more easily accept pull requests for those who'd like to contribute.
This is incompatible with earlier versions. There are some features I am yet to port over, but will do so eventually (after I finish my thesis). Would love if people would like to try and add some features / clean up my piles of messy code.
Also this movie is rendered with #eevee, I'm really going to try and practice more with EEVEE to try and improve render times and make it better for those who don't have a 3090 to rely upon.

I can now load _basically_ every atom from an entire bacterial cell, into #blender3d and #geometrynodes via #molecularnodes. Each macromolecule is down to atomic detail where available via CellPack, totalling ~250,000,000 points, all rendering (quite quickly) in Cycles #b3d
@MartinaMaritan I'm very much looking forward to making some cool animations now that I it's all inside of and manipulateable by #geometrynodes. @JacquesLucke this isn't quite on the scale of the human cells in the Blender HQ, but it's getting pretty close!
