2/#Dena_Sheibani is a snowboarding instructor, #Eshraq_Najafabadi is a cyclist, #Mohammad_Khiveh is a mountain climber; and #Hessam_Mousavi & #AmirArsalan_Mahdavi are also snowboarding instructors.
3/Their lives have now been upended. They were arrested at different times in the past month in different parts of Iran. They were forced to confess to planning to plant a bomb in the city of Shiraz.
4/The government has aired a grotesque video where these young men & women have their hands tied, are blindfolded, & forced to "confess."
5/There are reports that #Dena_Sheibani was forced to confess under physical & mental torture, which is a routine act by the Islamic Republic’s repressive apparatuses.
6/The government is trying to silence protests through such arrests & executions. It won’t work! We must all speak out for these arrested youths in Iran & be their voice.
