In 1969, I noticed students carrying Bibles around my Jr. High school. These were students I knew were “Hippies, Hoods & Stoners.” I remember being curious and affected by their transformations. 1/5
One girl in particular I watched transform even in the face of persecution and rejection. By the time I was in high school, I was so fascinated by her that I wrote an English paper about what she had that I didn’t have. 2/5
