2/Aida was a doctor who lived in Tehran’s Ekbatan neighborhood, which has been the site of regular protests.Because it is dangerous for wounded protestors to go to hospitals,Aida gave medical treatment to her injured neighbors at home.

3/She risked her own well-being to take care of others! But Aida went missing last Monday, December 12. According to some reports, she never returned after going to a pharmacy to get medicine to treat injured people.

4/The next day,the local police told her family to come retrieve her dead body! They claimed that she died in a car accident.
But the family demanded to see her body.They saw that her body was badly disfigured.

5/They said her injuries did not resemble someone who died in a car crash. According to reports, the family has demanded that the authorities say where this supposed car accident occurred and what vehicles were involved. But they have yet to get any answers.

6/Aida’s death is extremely suspicious. It is possible that she was grotesquely tortured to death. There needs to be transparency and accountability for her!
