Take the time to do thorough research on the product/service you’re writing about.

🔹It will allow you to:

• Effectively highlight the benefits of the product
• Avoid edits from your client (save lots of time)
• Use clear language in your copy

2️⃣Know Your Audience

Study who you're writing to and then tailor your copy accordingly.

🔹I usually pay attention to:

• Their biggest pain points
• What they're looking for
• Their demographics

3️⃣Write a Strong Hook

Create a strong hook that will grab the reader’s attention.

Attention is the most valuable asset of the 21st century.

The hook – is what grabs it, so don't neglect it!

4️⃣Use Storytelling

Tell stories that are relevant to the copy's subject.

🔹Stories are what create:

• Deeper connection and trust with customers
• Sense of vulnerability
• Emotional tone

5️⃣Editing ruthlessly

🔹Revise your copy to:

• Ensure your content conveys the intended message
• Cut out all the fluff & improve the readability
• Remove typos and grammar errors

🎯Pro tip: write the whole text without any edits & come back to it in a couple of hours.
