@SaitoOfficial is a Layer 1 blockchain that offers a solid foundation to build open source and scalable web applications.

The infrastructure is distributed by nodes. Applications on Saito run peer to peer, allowing users to maintain control over their data.

Most PoW and PoS networks are susceptible for attacks

@SaitoOfficial developed an amazing consensus consisting of four parts

- Block production
- payment lottery
- Increasing Cost of attack
- Automatic Transaction Rebroadcasting (ATR)

(4/19) Fee-recycling attacks

The fee-recycling attack is a way for bad actors to earn more rewards than they should for doing the same work as their peers

These attacks plagued the PoW and PoS networks a long time.

$Saito is one of the first who identified this attack vector

(5/19) Block production

- $Saito transactions contain routing signatures.
- Set of signatures changes trough the path of transaction
- Block production requires enough routing work
- Once the block is produced, all fees in the block are burned
- solves fee-recycling attacks

(6/19) Payment lottery

- Lottery prevents from Fee-recycling
- Produced blocks contain a challenge that miner have to solve
- Solution is a "golden ticket"
- A "golden ticket" in the next block triggers payout of funds
- Funds are splited between miner and a random node

(7/19) Increasing Cost of attack

- $Saito consensus makes attacks expensive
- bPoW allow bad actors to keep costs constant with a lot of hashpower
- In tPoW the cost of attack rises continuously
- This limts powerful attackers and allows other nodes to contribute

(8/19) ATR

- $Saito divides the blocks into epochs
- Once a block falls out of an epoch, its unspent transaction outputs (UTXO) are invalid.
- This UTXO must be re-included into the next block
- rebroadcasting fee is twice the average fee

#Saito Arcade is an open-source game engine that runs as a fully-distributed peer-to-peer blockchain application.

It's possible to play different games and use N64 emulator in the browser.
