.@Commanders safety Jeremy Reaves is headed to the #ProBowlGames for the first time in his career.
From going undrafted, to multiple roster cuts, to making a name for himself on special teams, @JR1ERA’s journey to Las Vegas is inspiring. 💪 (THREAD ⬇️)
After four years at @SouthAlabamaFB, Reaves went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft.
He signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent, but was waived before the season.
Jeremy joined the practice squad in Washington in 2018. He would be part of the final roster cuts for each of the following four seasons, spending time back and forth from the practice squad, active roster, and waivers.
In November 2021, Jeremy’s mom passed away. He wanted to honor her by dedicating himself to the game and being the best player he can be on the field. 🙏

Reaves just kept going. For the first time in his career, he made the team’s final 53-man roster before the start of this season.
Jeremy has played on more special teams snaps and has more special teams tackles than any other player in the league. 💪
His breakout season earned him a spot on the #ProBowlGames roster.
When Coach Rivera delivered the news, the emotion hit. Jeremy’s perseverance and dedication paid off. ❤️ (via @Commanders)
More than deserving @JR1ERA 👏 See you in Las Vegas.

It’s a new era in the Bay Area. Or should we say the “Trey Area.” 😏
@treylance09 takes over the reins for the @49ers tomorrow. But his journey to SF’s QB1 is almost as impressive as his skill set, and demonstrates the resiliency of this 22-year old star. 😤 (THREAD)
As the starting QB for Marshall Senior HS in Minnesota, Trey thought he’d be a QB at the Univ. of Minnesota, or at least another Division I FBS school.
One problem - Minnesota & all the other top programs wanted Lance to convert to a WR or DB.
Trey made it clear: He was a QB.
To be recruited as QB, Trey had to widen his options. He committed to the top FCS program @NDSUfootball.
