@CTOAdvisor@awscloud The Amazon Chime SDK from @awscloud delivers a set of composable voice, video, and chat application programming interfaces (APIs). These APIs enable enterprise developers and independent software vendors (ISVs) to add communication capabilities to their apps.
@CTOAdvisor@awscloud The Amazon Chime SDK uses machine learning (ML) to improve the fidelity, discern the intent, and analyze the content of a communication session. For example, with a single line of code, a builder can add transcriptions to a multi-party video session.
@CTOAdvisor@awscloud Customers use our service for a number of important workloads, including building intelligent customer engagement solutions. Customers use our service to connect to the public telephone network or adding calling capabilities to browser and mobile apps.
Maybe those infrastructure engineers actually did something @elonmusk.
This is a weird bug. When I send the tweet with just the video - it went. But when I sent it with two pictures - it failed. Perhaps it is a size limit preventing me from tweeting that much content. But then shouldn’t the error message tell me that?
The private equity pattern of buying a software company with debt and then laying off 75% of the workforce has been seen time and time again. For sure, I am sure some reduction was required to balance cash flows.
@rnewman Even without the pandemic burnout and pent up demand for vacation, I think that the health crisis created another accidental problem. As we became more remote there was less emphasis on putting more people on one problem versus spreading folks onto multiple concurrent programs.
@rnewman In an odd way, I saw folks assign a single resource to a single project. This is fine for demos, POCs, and experimental work. But there was a natural loss of redundancy that you need to ship software.
@rnewman Perhaps this was because there was less emphasis around collaborative work. It is only human nature to start thinking in terms of individual developers instead of groups. Also, it became harder to work as a group. Virtual meetings are still points of friction.
