I completed it on my 18th attempt in 2hrs 25mins. That’s the fastest I've ever completed a first solo flawless for a dungeon. 😁 Oddly, both the Harpy and the final boss took seven phases to kill. Definitely the easiest dungeon imo, but probably one of my favorites regardless.
The full video of the run is on YouTube if anybody is interested. I've included timestamps in the description.
Here are my thoughts on my personal solo Corrupted GM experience, how it compares to The Lightblade GM in difficulty and engagement, and enemy AI.
This is my first “take” and I’m very nervous posting this. I welcome your opinions, but please be kind.
(Also, I’m wordy, idc.) 1/12
I’ve been trying to solo The Corrupted GM (with all-bows), and I’m currently on attempt 63. I keep dying in the elevator, mostly to dumb mistakes I’m making. And the more attempts that pass, the more I want to say, “it’s not that hard”. But the thing is, it is hard.
It’s a hard GM, even for a full fireteam. But something feels off. It took me over 40 attempts and seven different bow combinations to realize what it was: I’m bored. Sure, the GM is difficult, but it isn’t challenging. I’m invested in the outcome, but not the activity itself.
