Also wanted “Megan’s testimony about contacting her team after she was shot,” but then said no thanks

Tory Lanez GUILTY on all 3 counts

Absolute pandemonium erupted in courtroom shortly before Torey Lanez was led away in handcuffs

"This wicked system," Tory's dad Sonstar Peterson yelled as he jumped up from the 1st row

"You two, you are wicked, you are evil," he shouted at the prosecutors before he was led out

Tory’s 6-year-old son started crying in the front row after his grandfather was ushered out. Tory was looking at the child and patted his chest to reassure him

We’re learning more about Jauquan “Quan” Smith’s presence at the L.A. criminal courthouse yesterday. He was Tory’s driver night of Megan Thee Stallion shooting 🧵

Smith hadn’t provided prior witness statement so prosecutors asked for continuance to next week to prepare, otherwise they'd be going in blind

Tory’s lawyer George Mgdesyan tells us: “He did not ask for immunity & did not say she was the shooter”

("She" being Kelsey Harris)

As for why defense didn’t agree to continuance: “We believe we have more than enough and we are afraid with the holidays we will lose jurors and it will result in a mistrial,” Mgdesyan says, confirming @JamesQueally report

Judge ruled Tues: “as the evidence stands,” he wouldn't allow alleged "prior acts of violence" to rebut EJ King’s testimony. But that could change if Tory opens door 🧵
