One of the sad details of this all too common story of #travelingwhileafrican is that the security guy claimed my partner @ibush_bingi’s “bag was too small”. He was traveling to the Caribbean for a week for Christ’s sake… what was he expected to have in his bag? @KLM
Surely the fact that he had no winter clothes, no coat, no winter shoes should have been a clear indication that he was going where he says he was going…. On a vacation to the Caribbean! @KLM
What makes you people tick? How do you get off on just ruining peoples’ plans time and time again? How do you have a “visa free” transit system which you then disregard based on how a person looks?
@LarryMadowo , @bonifacemwangi @CiruMuriuki … please help us amplify this sorry story. How long must Africans who do not have the privilege of wealth, notoriety or an important sounding job continue to be treated like dirt? @KLM #travelingwhileafrican #visafreetransitisalie
