And finally, it begins. Finally getting into Twitter files as they relate to Covid thanks to @elonmusk. This thread confirms everything many of us suspected all along. First thing that stands out in this thread is initial attempt to get Twitter to suppress started under Trump!
Of course, Trump trying to stop supply chains from being raided, or people from being swindled, isn't the same motivation as what came later. But that doesn't matter.
We have seen this throughout recent history. Whenever Republicans violate their own claimed orthodoxy -- you know, like "suspending free market principles to save the free market" -- Democrats ALWAYS take that precedent and do worse with it later. ALWAYS.

Dang it, if @pnjaban is truly gonna run and try to change things, then I’m a sucker for redemptive causes. So here’s my penny advice after 16 years of activism, much of it within the GOP. The GOP is mostly a false flag.
To truly conquer it, you have to treat it as such. Hostile takeovers only. It is not your friend, and rarely even an ally. Access-based glad-handing won’t work. This is a leverage game. All politics is truly a leverage game.
This is how Trump beat the GOP in 2016. He had nothing to lose, so he went for broke — a hostile takeover. This is why the party is bending over for DeSantis now — he has the leverage to do the same after Florida and people are fighting for their survival spots.

So what have we learned from the 2022 election? We learned a lot, and if you believe in the ideals of American Exceptionalism as I do you learned some painful truths. And even the ones that came with bright spots may also come with painful results. Let's discuss...
The hope, which the data we were being given beforehand indicated, was another layer of patriot had awakened after these disastrous last couple of years. That hope sadly wasn't realized. Those of us already awakened were more so. We didn't grow our base, we deepened our resolve.
Elsewhere, more and more sections of the country stated last night the brink of societal collapse isn't enough to move them. Instead, they doubled down. That is the stuff of Romans 1. That is cosmic. Places actually chose baby killing over sanity.

Yesterday @elonmusk said Twitter will continue to censor “hate speech” but also that it should never censor things that are true. Except the truth is hate speech to those who hate truth. @TheBabylonBee, for example, was censored for stating the truth that a man is not a woman.
The people running Twitter at the time hated that truth. And like an increasing mob believe any disagreement with their fantastical ravings against sanity is “hate speech.” That’s also what the advertisers pulling out of Twitter think. Or at least that’s the mob they fear.
Again, Musk seems to think this fight just needs a fair referee. Except it’s not a fight at all. We’d actually LOVE to have ANY fight, let alone a fair one. They won’t show up, let alone allow it. This ideology doesn’t want a debate at all, only coercive control.
