Follow These 8 Steps and You'll Never Worry If You Made A Great First Impression:
- thread -
1. Keep good eye contact
Are you intently looking at them and interested in what they're saying or do you stare behind them or off to the side?
If you are doing the first it shows your genuine interest but if you're not then you're showing you don't care.
2. Have a relaxed face and body
If you are standing up too straight or squinting your eyes you look nervous
and uncomfortable.
Instead, cross your legs or lean back in your chair. This shows you're very comfortable as you aren’t thinking about what you're doing too much.
3. Pay attention to their answers
Most interested people will give detailed answers to prolong a conversation.
Those that are disinterested will give yes or no answers and never expound.
4. Notice proximity
If you like a person you will naturally be closer to them.
It may not even be a conscious movement but you do it as it feels natural.
5. Not everything needs to be analyzed
Not ALL body movements mean something.
Just be yourself and do what feels natural!
Otherwise, you may embarrass yourself.
6. Direction of body displays interest
If your legs and toes are pointed toward them it communicates you want to talk and get to know them.
Always put your body in a good potion to attract what you want.
7. Touching your face
Touching your face is completely normal when under pressure.
You try to cover this uncertainty by filling in awkward silence with face touching be careful though it gives off a nervous sense about you.
8. Watch your hands
People who are passionate about what they’re talking about or passionate about the person they’re talking to will have lots of hand movements to emphasize their points.
So use them for the right time!
