How to start an Amazon arbitrage business on a budget: Image
I started selling on Amazon three years ago while working as an unpaid intern

Since then I’ve been able to scale up and have done around $3.5m in sales.
There are several types of Amazon FBA businesses, I specialize in arbitrage.

Specifically online arbitrage

I buy stuff from big retail websites and flip them on Amazon
Think Walmart dot com, Nike, etc

Natural market inefficiencies exist between them, and customers on Amazon will happily pay a premium

Why?
They trust Amazon and super quick shipping

So how much money do you need to start Amazon online arbitrage?

In my opinion, the sweet spot is $1000-2000.
The majority of that will be for inventory, a well a profession Amazon Seller Account $40/mo.

Now, for software.
Most people overcomplicate this.

Just get SellerAmp + Keepa.

SellerAmp is $20/mo and tells you

>Does it sell?

>Can you sell it?

>Is it profitable? Image
I also like finding items via the storefront search feature, where I look at what successful sellers are selling & copy it. Image
Keepa tells you all the data overtime on an item

Its price, competition, and demand history. Image
I recommend binging a lot of my Youtube videos to start, specifically on product research and sourcing.
Some other things that really helped me:

Coupons
Rakuten + Top Cashback
Rewards accounts
Credit card Cashback
+ others
Ungating was a major hurdle when I was starting

Luckily now it's easy to get great beginner categories unlocked by ordering from Nike, Eastbay, or Frontier CoOp and submitting the invoice to Amazon.

On a budget, you probably won't want to get a great thermal printer.
I started out going to the library to print my FNSKU and shipping labels.

Now its time to start finding products, start with a brand like Nike, Lego or great Value that we know is being carried by other resellers
Binge on some of my YouTube videos to get a better sense of it all in visual form.

I have 100+ to help you get rolling!

Last year I did my first $1M in sales on Amazon

I failed badly my first 18 months…

This year I’ve done $2.4M so far🧵
I originally found Amazon in 2018 when I was just starting to make $1k/mo profit selling sneakers

It was crazy to me people were making money selling all different types of stuff online
Beauty items, books, toys, EVERYTHING
The problem when I started was I couldn't figure out how to unlock big brands and categories to sell (Nike, LEGO, etc)

This led me to focusing solely on used books at the time.

Which was hard to scale.

My Amazon business is having a record month, on pace for over $500k.

3 key metrics go into a good item to flip:
#1 - Profitability.

This is very straight forward, I use the SellerAmp profit calculator and aim for a 30%+ ROI.

As you scale you may take lower margin items for volume.
#2 - Velocity

This means sales rank on Amazon.

Sales rank = a ranking of how an item sells compared to all the other items in its category.

I prefer to stay under a 50k sales rank at standard ROI levels.

My Amazon business has done $237k of revenue so far this month.

These 3 things helped me a ton this Q4:
For context last year I did around $305k for the entire month, so I'm on pace to crush it.

Last year was my first December at scale, and I learned a lot.

Apply these and you'll win more next year
#1 - Volume

It takes a lot of work to find a good item

It takes very little work to rebuy it

This is why I focus on super low-rank items that I can crank volume on
