Let's talk about H from Steps and what may connect him to a man serving 22 years for raping and torturing a ten year old girl. (Thread) #BlockedByHFromSteps
A few years back, a tool called Terfblocker found favour among trans rights activists and the clueless celebs who enabled them.
Terfblocker promised to rid timelines of racists, bigots, fascists, and *cough* left wing women who had fought their whole lives for women and gay rights *cough*
Rumour had it that the add-on had been designed by David and 'Aimee' Challenor. Aimee was a central figure at Stonewall, the Greens and the Lib Dems around the time all three organisations began adopting self ID.
Aimee's star had been rising despite the fact that he had no discernible qualities as a speaker or thought leader. Simply being 'trans' was enough to get him a speaking gig at Oxford University, for example.
Then, shockingly, David Challenor was charged with raping and torturing a ten year old girl in the attic of the Challenor family home. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6…
David Challenor committed his crimes while dressed as a little girl and wearing a nappy, a niche fetish which, by astonishing coincidence, he shared with his son.
An internal Greens investigation found that Aimee had no awareness of the gravity of his error in not informing the party of the charges faced by his father. Aimee left the party, shouting "transphobia" as he went and was instantly scooped up by the Lib Dems
By the way, The Greens have still not apologised for their treatment of Andy Healy, the whistleblower who tried desperately to call attention to the Challenors, and got smeared as a bigot by party officials as a result. grahamlinehan.substack.com/p/what-happene…
Aimee's time at the Lib Dems was rudely interrupted when it was discovered that his boyfriend, Nathaniel Knight was (another) paedophile. open.substack.com/pub/grahamline…
Aimee and Nathaniel were (and may still be) moderators at the website Reddit. They were most likely instrumental in the purge of feminist and lesbian subreddits that didn't centre fetishistic, crossdressing men. grahamlinehan.substack.com/p/something-ro…
Now to be clear, H from Steps probably has no idea he was using Challenor's blocklist. It may not even BE Challenor's blocklist. But whatever he's using, at one stroke he's silenced a whole tranche of feminist thought, one particularly concerned with safeguarding.
The men who make these add-ons are shut-ins, incels, porn-sick losers who like to operate in the shadows. Terfblocker and similar services make it a lot easier for them to achieve their aims without drawing attention.
Celebrities thinking of using these tools may want to think carefully about what they're passively enabling.
After Rotherham and Savile, the question most often asked was "how could it have continued so long? Why didn't someone do something?"
One thing we need to talk about is how on one level, gender cultism is a resurgence of the hippy era except without the music, art or comedy.
There's good stuff out there of course, there always is. But not at a society-wide level, if that makes sense. We've lost touch with each other as an audience. Nothing can capture the Zeitgeist because the Zeitgeist is horrible and meaningless and broken.
Stasi fucks like Owen Jones reporting their colleagues to the authorities for the slightest infringement of the arbitrary rules. Nothing is possible when everyone is a possible informer.
Let's talk about how @Keir_Starmer is responsible for this moment. A young man calling @DreyfusJames and @FredSargeant -- two iconic gay figures, one of them a bona fidé hero of the gay movement-- "scumbags".
James Dreyfus broke important ground when he co- created the monstrous, catty, vicious Tom with Jonathan Harvey and @KathyBurke in the sitcom 'Gimme Gimme Gimme'. At last gay men (and straight women) were allowed to be funny and raw while not giving a toss about likeability.
James also had a much-loved part in Ben Elton's comedy The Thin Blue Line where he played that show's 'Trigger' (or its 'Dougal', if you like). Even if you don 't know him from one, you'll know him from the other.
Ready to peak harder than you thought possible? No matter how much you dig into this, there's always something worse around the corner.
WPATH, considered the world authority on 'trans healthcare', links to a site called 'The Eunuch Archives', which is basically a repository of pornographic stories about castration. Over 40% of the stories are tagged 'minor'
Yesterday, many Irish people told me they didn't realise 1) that Ireland had self ID and 2) that they themselves had voted for it when they thought they were only voting for marriage equality. The Denton's Document explains how this happened spectator.co.uk/article/the-do…
The Guardian tried to cover up the Wi Spa story three times. The war on women wouldn't have got anywhere were it not for collaborators like @KathViner suppressing the truth. grahamlinehan.substack.com/p/the-wi-spa-a…
So for a few years now my friend JL has been writing up one story a day for our weekly round-up 'A Week In The War On Women'. grahamlinehan.substack.com/p/a-week-in-th…
The stories--attacks on women in women-only spaces, rapists and paedophiles assuming a trans identity, a docile press using 'she/her' pronouns to refer to them, of women losing their livelihoods for fighting it all--were coming in too fast for me to properly cover them.
