A few years back, a tool called Terfblocker found favour among trans rights activists and the clueless celebs who enabled them.

Terfblocker promised to rid timelines of racists, bigots, fascists, and *cough* left wing women who had fought their whole lives for women and gay rights *cough*

Rumour had it that the add-on had been designed by David and 'Aimee' Challenor. Aimee was a central figure at Stonewall, the Greens and the Lib Dems around the time all three organisations began adopting self ID.

Aimee's star had been rising despite the fact that he had no discernible qualities as a speaker or thought leader. Simply being 'trans' was enough to get him a speaking gig at Oxford University, for example.

David Challenor committed his crimes while dressed as a little girl and wearing a nappy, a niche fetish which, by astonishing coincidence, he shared with his son.

An internal Greens investigation found that Aimee had no awareness of the gravity of his error in not informing the party of the charges faced by his father. Aimee left the party, shouting "transphobia" as he went and was instantly scooped up by the Lib Dems

Now to be clear, H from Steps probably has no idea he was using Challenor's blocklist. It may not even BE Challenor's blocklist. But whatever he's using, at one stroke he's silenced a whole tranche of feminist thought, one particularly concerned with safeguarding.

The men who make these add-ons are shut-ins, incels, porn-sick losers who like to operate in the shadows. Terfblocker and similar services make it a lot easier for them to achieve their aims without drawing attention.

Celebrities thinking of using these tools may want to think carefully about what they're passively enabling.
