Came across this remarkably dishonest, or pathetically ill-informed, YouTube take on the recent murder trial of former Ft. Worth police officer Aaron Dean for the tragic shooting death of Atatiana Jefferson. (Video link at end--sadly, ~600,000 views already of this trash.)
1/5
Several lies or serious misconceptions (you decide) in even just the first few minutes of the video.
For example, says Dean was deemed unqualified to be an officer by a psychologist--it doesn't say that THREE other psychologists disagreed, passed him, why he was hired.
2/5
Says was a non-emergency call-out--doesn't say that though neighbor called non-emergency number, dispatcher classified call Signal 56, open-structure/silent alarm/possible burglary in progress, LEVEL 2: MUST HAVE BACKUP OFFICER, just below "shots fired."
3/5
Says Dean didn't announce himself on scene--fails to say Dean's training was explicitly to NOT announce on a Signal 56 call of this type until they have investigated the outside of the structure (for signs of force entry, etc.).
4/5
So, again, Either thoroughly uninformed are deliberately deceptive--yet ~600,000 views in five days.
But you can decide for yourself, if you've sufficient understand of the actual facts and law of the case to spot the serious errors/deceptions:

The MOST contemptible facet of this video, however, is that the thumbnail shows not accused Aaron Dean, but his partner, Carol Darch, never accused of any misconduct, still a Ft. Worth officer, testified AGAINST Dean--headline and image suggest SHE is the "killer cop convicted."
In my professional legal opinion, the use of this image of Officer Carol Darch emblazoned with this headline of "killer cop convicted" is malicious defamation, and Darch would be a fool indeed if she did not demand legal satisfaction from YouTube channel LackLuster.
For the record: #AaronDean was not convicted on legal merit, he was convicted by a feckless jury (they actually added 10 months 12 days to sentence because shooting happened on 10/12 of 2019--justice!), a malicious prosecution, and an inept legal defense.
