π·πΊπΊπ¦ Problems still faced by Russian air defense:
1. Large stocks of HIMARS, with the ability of a mass strike, led to a situation where Russian SAMs simply ran out of ammo. This was partially solved by sending Pantsir-SM-TBMs with double the number of missiles.
2. Insufficient interaction with other branches. A broken ID system has repeatedly led to friendly fire, to the point that nearly all(!) Su-34, Su-35S and Su-30SM aircraft lost since spring, as well as some of the Ka-52 helicopters, are "on the books" of the Russian air defense.
3. The troops lack an automated control system (ACS) and warning system similar to the Ukrainian Virazh-Planshet. Each AA battery and sometimes even the squads operate autonomously from each other, without having operational data on the air situation in other areas.
4. The inability to cover the entire rear, due to the long length of the front and the huge number of populated areas. The number of launchers and combat vehicles is limited, while the number of dispersed strategic civilian and military facilities is incomparably greater.
