It is reported that a car with the so-called "chief of the police department" Igor Kuzakov was blown up in the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka. The condition of the collaborator is unknown.
In St. Petersburg a business center went up in flames.
Another rare Russian BMP-1AM "Basurmanin" was destroyed in the combat zone.
Over to the general events. Starting with a big rocket attack this morning by Russia in Ukraine. In total, Russia fired 69 cruise missiles of which 54 were shot down. Another 11 Shahed-drones were taken down. Russia also shot numerous S-300 missiles on Kharkiv/Zaporizhzia.
In Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk and near Lviv infrastructure got hit. Lviv was 90% without power. Current situation not completely known, but still large parts are without power.
UK to allocate £2.3bn to help Ukraine. Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said Britain would provide weapons systems that match Soviet designs. He added that Britain had recently donated thousands of anti-aircraft missiles to destroy enemy drones.
Zelensky, at a meeting with Biden, again asked for ATACMS missiles with a range of up to 300 kilometers for Ukraine, but Washington's position remains adamant. Politico writes about it.
But then, the US government is considering sending Bradley combat vehicles to Ukraine as part of an additional military support package, according to sources writes Bloomberg. A gamechanger.
It's about the M2/M3 variants which are used as troop carrier (M2) and scouting (M3)
If you want to know how the Bradley IFV works, check this YouTube vid.
➡️NE of Bakhmut, Russia made small gains near ALFA station (2). Artillery stopped further advance
➡️Fighting east of Soledar (1) continues. Russia really throwing in a lot
➡️South of Klishchiivka (3), Russia retreated after being pinned down by artillery
➡️Mar'inka (1) is fluid. Russia concentrated extra forces to push north of Mar'inka. They want to control the road to Krasnohorivka, which is still under AFU.
➡️Avdiivka (2) small positional battles, usual daily artillery.
➡️Kolomyichykha (2) is at least contested. No visual confirmation. Russia again shelled it today. Institute of War calls it Ukraine controlled
➡️I received credible info that Pidkuichansk (3) is captured by AFU
➡️Again, Vilshana/Pershotravneve (1) got shelled
This info about Pidkuichansk adds up to this tweet from @DefMon3, which also stated that Pidkuichans'k is liberated.
I am still waiting for visual confirmation. There is nothing as fluid as that area. We saw that with Novoselivske.
➡️Deputy Chief Gromov confirmed the AFU advanced 2.5 km in the Kreminna area. This is likely last week's advance south of Kreminna/Dibrova (1)
➡️AFU repelled an attack on Chervonopopivka (2)
➡️UA officals reported that Russia is retreating behind the Krasna River.
