On the 1st of July 2022, Statsbygg published their new BIM requirements for their projects.

This set of requirements is called SIMBA and the latest version is SIMBA 2.1.

This is based on the previous version released one year earlier, SIMBA 2.0.
Before I go on with this, let me briefly describe who Statsbygg is.

Statsbygg is the Norwegian governmentโ€™s building commissioner, property manager, and developer.

Statsbygg also advises the government in construction and property affairs.
