There is class struggle from above, and the majority of the permanently attacked dominated classes today lack the consciousness for collective resistance. 
From the hushed class struggle that raged in the United States in the 1940s, the ruling families of gigantic fortunes have learned that collective action, that is, collective action by workers and, in general, by the ruled classes,
is by far the most dangerous form of resistance for their interests and domination.
Especially threatening for the ruling families of the gigantic fortunes is when the dominated classes unite beyond national borders, i.e. internationally. Therefore, under abuse of nationalism, enemy images, hatred and agitation, war and fascism were and are actively created,
cultivated and promoted again and again by the ruling families of the gigantic fortunes and their henchmen.
And for this reason, it was and is suggested, especially by Hollywood-, Netflix-&Co., that problems would be solved by daring violent actions of (preferably heavily armed) individuals or superheroes,
which stands in strong contrast to an assumed apathy and impotence of the majority of society.
Action films are always about the individual actions of individual action heroes, never about the collective actions of a majority of society.
The astroturfings like #Fridaysforfuture or #LetzteGeneration with seduced, manipulated or simply bought affluent neglected youths and the ideology of wokeness aim in a similar direction.
In this way, there is an attempt to undermine interest in any kind of collective, non-violent action among the majority of society, the dominated classes, who could benefit from it.
In general, collective actions have been and are demonized as violence, coercion, and twisted in an Orwellian sense as communism (or socialism in the negative sense).
The division and atomization of society is the most effective method of securing domination for the ruling families of gigantic fortunes.
