Tribal Hindus thrashed christian missionaries who came to their village for conversion. A church was also vandalised by Tribal hindus.

Hindu brothers and sisters called strike against alleged conversion by missionaries. They let out a rally and the rally turned violent.

Also several things allegedly broken by angry people.

Christian missionaries were forcing tribals to convert. But tribals didn't agree. So on 31st December night, missionaries beaten tribals. Several got injured and in hospital. Tribals became angry.

She is Moumita Chakraborty. She refused to remove conch shell and red coral bangles(শাঁখা ও পলা) and didn't appear in yesterday's PRIMARY TET Exam. She felt insulted when said to remove the signs of married Hindu women..+

As per Admit Card, she went to Satish Chandra Lahiri High School. There she and others were told to remove auspicious conch shell and red coral bangles. Others abide by, but she refused. According to Hindu Bengali custom, a married woman removes conch shell and red coral bangles+

When her husband dies. She said that she was shocked to see the notification by primary education board. So she returned home without sitting for Exam and she is proud of that.

Today,Anjali Biswas(25) was brutally stabbed in breast, face, belly, hand by Rafiq Ali near Narengi military camp area of #Guwahati. She is critical and going treatment in GMC Hospital. As information,She ended her relationship with Rafiq one year ago, he threatened.

Doctor saying that her one eyes also seriously damaged. Stabbing was so intense that her Liver has been cut. She is in ICU now after operation of several hours.

Incident happened on Thursday. Today Rafiq Ali arrested.
