Yesterday was my last day at Twitter. It has been an absolute honor working with so many amazing people in the last 5.5 years. It was wilder than I could have ever imagined with so many stories and unforgettable moments

It started with managing a recommendation team, then building a data-informed Growth org with some of the best people at Twitter, leading to consistent causal audience growth. Then working with ML experts across the company to accelerate Personalization and AI in the core product

and, most recently, working with @elonmusk to transform the company towards his vision and texting about product ideas or bugs with him at 3am!

I joined Twitter for People and Product, and it never ceased to amaze me. While the product looks simple, enabling healthy public conversation, I would argue it is one of those mission impossibles of our time but one worth solving.

Overcoming human nature and social divides is harder than laws of nature. If you want to know why? take Tianxiao's advice and read "The Social Construction of Reality". I believe it is going to get even harder with the introduction of generative AI into conversations.

If product challenges are what got me to Twitter, people were what got me to stay. Twitter had and still has some of the brightest people in the industry.

I am forever grateful for the amazing leaders that took a bet on me and taught me all I know. @sgurumur , @lessachu , @sandeep_pndy , @nickcald , @LYangInTheFlock , @rnoweber .

I had a fantastic team of colleagues that made going to wars easy: @cambridgemike , @3_stan , @krishna_kamath , @foaddabiri , @EFarraro, @wanghaofei , @gungorpl , MarkK, @jerryjiang , and lsimon.

No consumer eng leader is successful without strong XFN partners in crime. @SchmeiserMax , @lisafeig , @umang , @angelasw , @sanazmotahari , @jkutik , @LiaMcLean , @Anton_Sardos, @esthercrawford @ellagirwin and many others. It was a joy building stuff with you.

I am a student of watching and learning leaders’ principles and frameworks. In the past few months, I learned a lot from @jaysullivan about how to show up and to lead and how to stay true to one’s moral compass. Thank you Jay.

I also learned from up close @elonmusk's framework to scale the efficiency of a startup to a midsize company to achieve the unachievable. Thank you Elon.

There were many great moments to call out. But there was one worse day. A call on Saturday morning from @thauburger. When Twitter lost one of its bests. #loveforcourtney 💙
