#BibiUmmulBaneen Verses for Hazrat Abbas (as) -🧵 
Umm ul-Banin ("mother of several sons"), married Ali (Ali ibn Abi Talib), after the death of his first wife Fatimah (sa). Ummul Banin and Ali had four sons, of which the eldest was Al-Abbas ibn Ali (the commander of Husayn ibn Ali's forces at the Battle of Karbala).
Out of her great love for her son, Umm-ul-Banin did her best to protect him from any evil, including the evils of the envious. Hence, she composed the following poetic verses:
I seek the guard of the One (God) for him
From the eye of every envious
Including the risings and the sitters
The Muslims and the unbelievers
The comers and the goers
And sons and fathers.

said by Imam as-Sadiq during visit the tomb of Abbas, the following statement is addressed to al-Abbas:
"Salaam be upon you; the righteous servant (of God), the obedient to Allah, His Messenger, Amir ul-Mu'minin, al-Hasan,al-Hussein, peace and greetings of Allah be upon them."
