From worst in the league to first in their division, the @Jaguars are playoff bound once again.

With a new head coach and a star second-year QB, Jacksonville finished the regular season on a 5-game winning streak. Let’s recap a redemption season in #DUUUVAL. THREAD 🧵
In the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Jags selected Georgia’s standout LB, Travon Walker.

@44Ytw made an immediate impact, nabbing a crucial interception against Carson Wentz and the Commanders in his first NFL game.

From the start of the season, it was clear the Jaguars had made improvements defensively. Through the first four weeks, Trayvon Walker was second on the defense in pressures generated. LB Devin Lloyd was tied for the team lead in tackles.

Things got a bit rocky midseason, as a 5-game losing streak brought things to a halt.

A crucial Week 14 game against the Titans marked a turning point. Lawrence passed for 368 yards and scored a rushing TD late in the 3rd quarter to seal the Jags win.

The Jags came into Week 15 as underdogs against the Cowboys. But the team from Duval County had a lot to prove.

Lawrence threw 4 TDs, while Zay Jones exploded with 108 yards receiving and 3 TDs. The game went to OT and the Jags D won it on a pick-6.

That victory sparked a late-season win streak. In the final minutes of the regular season, the Jags’ defense came through once again.

Rayshawn Jenkins forced a fumble on the Titans which Josh Allen ran in for a TD. The Jaguars were division champs.

It would’ve been easy to write off the Jaguars, but this team defied expectation time and again in 2022. Is this the year the team makes it all the way to the big game?

Many expected this season to be the start of a rebuild in Seattle. The @Seahawks parted ways with two of the franchise’s best in the offseason.

But Pete Carroll, Geno Smith, and a list of rookies had other plans. After a remarkable year, the 12s are back in the playoffs. (🧵⬇️) ImageImageImageImage
You're used to seeing Russell Wilson at Lumen Field in Week 1. But not in the visitor’s locker room.

All eyes on Russ' return in primetime, but it was Geno who stole the show with the hardest mic drop of 2022. 🎤
The Week 1 win was no fluke. SEA was here to compete. Winners of five of six from Weeks 4-9, the Hawks were flying high.

Getting his first chance since 2014 as a full-time QB1 in the NFL, @GenoSmith3 was putting up early season MVP-type numbers. Nobody was sleeping on 7 anymore. Image

The @BuffaloBills have reached the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season and finished with their third-straight season with 11 or more wins. Let’s look back at their journey to the playoffs ⬇️ Image
The Bills kicked off their season the best way possible, defeating the defending Super Bowl champs. A nice way for new Bills LB @VonMiller to kick off his first season as a Bill, proving they were the real deal on a primetime stage. ImageImageImageImage
After a close loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 3, the Bills came back stronger with a four-game win streak.

They were 3-4.

They finished 13-4.

A season once in question is now perfectly relevant behind Mr. Irrelevant and a 2-way cast of superstars.

Here’s how the @49ers did it. #FTTB [THREAD 🧵]
One could say the 49ers' season turned around when they traded for @CMC_22 in Week 7.

They are 10-0 since CMC became a starter. An instant impact.

Could he have been the greatest mid-season acquisition of all time? The man even throws passes!

Now, you can't just have a good offense to make the playoffs. Defense wins championships, and boy does SF have a good one.

Ranked No. 1 in yards allowed per game and total points allowed, this unit literally flies to the football.

Let’s look back at some of the best performances from this season’s rookie standouts that earned them @pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week honors. 🔥(THREAD ⬇️)
Imagine catching a TD for your first-ever reception in your first-ever game. 👀

That’s exactly what @jahandotson did in Week 1, scoring TWO TDs to lead the @Commanders to a perfect start to the season. 🔥@pepsi
Get used to seeing some @nyjets highlights in this thread. What a season for their rookies. 💪

It all started with @GarrettWilson_V’s 102 yard, muti-TD day in Week 2, capping off a miraculous comeback win. @pepsi

After missing the postseason in 2021, the @Ravens have bounced back in 2022.

Baltimore made a BIG trade acquisition on defense midseason and despite battling multiple key injuries, the #RavensFlock journey to the #NFLPlayoffs has been nothing short of eventful.🧵 ImageImage
The Ravens rotated wins and losses in their first six games, going 3-3. But Lamar Jackson came out of the gates strong with 15 total TDs over that span.

He was named AFC Offensive Player of the Month for September.
Justin Tucker was still doing Justin Tucker things. @jtuck9 helped seal the game vs. Cincinnati… their Wild Card opponent this weekend 👀
