What is going to happen to TikTok in 2023?

- Organic Reach?
- Monetization?
- Ecom features?

Here's my prediction:

A year ago, Gary Vaynerchuk said that organic reach on TikTok would end in 1.5-2 years.

The time has come, and what do we see?

I've come up with three things that I expect to happen to TikTok:

1/ Less organic reach.

I believe that organic reach on TikTok will never end

Because this is the first platform that offers you content based on your interests rather than your following accounts.

But: the more people create content, the fewer views each video can get, that's true.

We already see changes in the organic reach:

- Views are counting slower
- The required quality of viral videos is growing

What would you do to get the same amount of views as always:

a. Make sure you invest in quality content
b. Play long-term game, create long-term strategies
c. Target your audience and niche down your topic

2/ More business oriented

In 2023 we will see more:

- ads
- businesses tools
- monetization tools for creators.

As we see in the Chinese market:

TikTok Lives are crushing it with ECOM brands

TikTok Market (Aliexpress competitor) is also killing it

I expect some of these features to come to the US as well.

3/ More niche players

It's impossible right now to grow a dancing account on TikTok.

There are over 500B views on #dance

But niche accounts will get more and more reach over time.

You can see that on IG right now.

Everyone is niching down, trying to find the blue ocean.

This is something you need to do right now.

The sooner you narrow your niche, the more reach you will get (paradox).

I hope 2023 is another crushing year for everyone on TikTok

And this is the last year of the highest returns on investment rates compared to other social media platforms.

So if you want to crush it, I suggest you start now!
