frxETH (@fraxfinance):

• Highest staking APR by far (and largest growth in staked $ETH).

• More broad integrations of $frxETH across DeFi.

• 8% fee from the staking yield is used to buy back the $FXS token.

• Institutional demand for liquid staking will likely increase exponentially in the years to come (especially after Shanghai).

Coinbase is likely to capture a major share with their institutional staking services and lower fees (Coinbase Prime).
stETH (@LidoFinance)

• Most $LDO unlocks have happened already so less inflationary pressure going forward.

• $LDO doesn't accrue any of the revenue from staking fees however.

The Shanghai hard fork (enabling withdrawals of staked $ETH) is scheduled for march.

I expect that many of these tokens will se a local top somewhere before that event.

While I believe many of these native tokens are getting close to the top, some of these could perform quite well on a longer time frame.

Liquid staking is becoming a large industry. Good value accrual to governance tokens + high staking yield is key.

Some quick data to get you up to speed on the two most popular decentralized perps:

Comparing @GMX_IO & @GainsNetwork_io volume, fees, Farming yield + P/E ratio.

Thoughts:

• @GainsNetwork_io has gained a substantial market share since its deployment on Arbitrum

• Yield has decreased significantly on GMX (probably more than people anticipated)

• @GMX_IO makes significantly more revenue from the same relative volume
Notes on P/E ratio:

• Forward P/E uses current 7d fees annualised (more conservative valuation)

• The % of revenue that is going to $GMX/$GNS holders is considered

• We are using revenue and not earnings (revenue - token emissions). Using earnings would be more accurate

Here's an overview of the top Ethereum liquid staking protocols and their liquid staking derivatives (LSD's).

Lido has the majority of the market share however this has decreased the past 30d.

Coinbase, @Rocket_Pool and @fraxfinance are the biggest gainers in this period.
Note that we'll likely get a much clearer image of where the demand is after withdrawals are enabled.

Currently, ETH cannot be unstaked which restricts major changes in market share.
