Curious what #BelowDeck alum though of Camille, I watched Galley Talk and was so disappointed in my favorite yachtie Kate Chastain who fell into white woman solidarity with racist Camille. Kate said Alissa was condescending. No, Alissa was a Black woman supervising a white woman.
This season of #BelowDeck is a study in racism. Camille repeatedly is caught lying about others to get out of work. Sandy heard Camille lie about herself. She's constantly sneaking away from the job. Yet, they wonder who's to blame for the friction between Alissa & Camille
Fraser reveals himself by saying he cannot decide who is telling the truth between Alissa (hard-working, responsible) and Camille (shirker, prone to crying, sneaking off) so he won't do anything. Sorry, if he can't decide who is more credible, he's a stone-cold racist.
Sandy catches Camille telling a lie about Sandy. She sees her coming to her over her supervisor (though to be honest, Sandy likes that because she is a shitty supervisor) and she sees her shirking, but she compliments her and coddles her. She doesn't "want" to fire her.
More evidence that Fraser is a racist POS. He talks to Camille about going to Sandy and she sasses back. He says "Are you fucking mental?" and then says he can't decide whether Alissa or Camille is more credible. What the actual fuck?
